 Mudd's Restaurant offers a unique setting for weddings, private parties, corporate meetings and other special events unparalleled in the San Francisco Bay Area. Situated on ten acres of gardens, creek canyons and open space, we cater to groups seeking a unique alternative to the traditional urban restaurant experience.


Private Parties

In addition to weddings and wedding receptions, Mudd's Restaurant is highly regarded as an exceptional facility for numerous other types of Special Events. Whether it be a landmark birthday celebration, anniversary, graduation, prom, communion, bar mitzvah or family reunion, we can customize the event to insure its success for your specific occasion.

Corporate & Business Events

Our close proximity to the I680 corridor (1 mi.) and to the business parks at Bishop Ranch (3 mi.) and Hacienda (7 mi.) makes Mudd's Restaurant an ideal, centralized location for professional & business business eventsevents. Breakfast meetings, lunches, dinners, classes, seminars and news conferences are regularly scheduled at Mudd's Restaurant. Regular clients include: SBC, Chevron, PG&E, UC Berkeley, PeopleSoft. and the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory. Our unique site, on 10 acres of open space, lends the feel of a wine country retreat yet just minutes from the office. In addition to our indoor meeting, dining & classroom arrangements, we can accommodate al fresco patio and garden break outs as well. We will also provide network, fax, copy and a/v support for all of your business communication needs.

 

 

Descriptions of the Event Rooms


We offer four different areas to stage group events:
the Fireside Room, the Board Room, the Garden Room and the West Room.

 

The Fireside Room: The largest is our Fireside Room which is the former farmhouse in front of the Main Restaurant. Converted and remodeled in 1993, it has a beamed ceiling, wall to wall carpeting, dance floor and a traditional living room brick woodburning fireplace. With white walls, wooden trim and numerous windows looking out over our beautiful bucolic landscape, the Fireside Room is both spacious and airy by day yet warm and intimate at night. In addition, two sets of double French doors open out onto a private deck and lawn (shaded in the warmer months by two huge Elm trees) overlooking the garden and creek canyon. The Fireside Room can seat up to 75 guests for dinner. Cocktail and appetizer receptions can accommodate up to 100. Classroom seating for up to 100.



BoardroomThe Boardroom: The Boardroom is the smallest of our Special Event dining rooms. It can accommodate groups of between 8 to 24 guests. The Boardroom is fully private and appointed in the same style as the main restaurant with our renowned slatted red cedar ceiling, wall to wall carpeting, windows throughout and its own private outdoor deck overlooking a beautiful oak meadow.









West RoomThe West Room: The West Room is in the west wing of the main dining room and is secluded semi-privately from public dining with retractable room dividers. This dining room will accommodate groups of up to 30. It features a wall of windows overlooking the garden as well as a double door leading out to a garden patio.










Garden RoomThe Garden Room: The Garden Room is a semi private dining room separated from the front lobby and the main dining rooms by our service bar. The Garden Room can accommodate groups of between 15 to 30. It is appointed with a tile floor, upholstered bench seating around the perimeter of the room and three walls of windows looking out into the garden and patios of the restaurant. Additionally, there is an adjoining outdoor patio to tables and chairs and access to the garden.

A state sales tax of 8.25% and a gratuity charge of 20% will be added to the price of all menus items as listed below.
