Perhaps no day is ever as special as one's wedding day. A wedding at Mudd's is a truly unique event guaranteed to elicit fond memories from friends & family throughout one's life. In the spring, summer and fall months, your wedding ceremony may be held out of doors, alongside the 2 acre herb & vegetable garden on a bluff overlooking the creek canyon of mature oaks and bay trees. Wedding receptions are staged either in the main restaurant (for between 50 and 200) or in our Fireside Room (for between 25-75). For very intimate groups, we also offer our Board Room with its own private outdoor deck (ideal for between 10 and 24 attendees).
We offer four different areas to stage group events:
the Fireside Room, the Board Room, the Garden Room and the West Room.
Fireside Room: The largest is our Fireside Room which is the former farmhouse in front of the Main Restaurant. Converted and remodeled in 1993, it has a beamed ceiling, wall to wall carpeting, dance floor and a traditional woodburning fireplace. With white walls, wooden trim and numerous windows looking out over our beautiful landscape, the Fireside Room is both spacious and airy by day yet warm and intimate at night. In addition, two sets of double French doors open out onto a private deck and lawn (shaded in the warmer months by two huge Elm trees) overlooking the garden and creek canyon. The Fireside Room can seat up to 75 guests for dinner. Cocktail and appetizer receptions can accommodate up to 100. Classroom seating for up to 100.
Boardroom: The Boardroom is
the smallest of our Special Event dining rooms. It can accommodate
groups of between 8 to 24 guests. The Boardroom is fully private
and appointed in the same style as the main restaurant with our
renowned slatted red cedar ceiling, wall to wall carpeting, windows
throughout and its own private outdoor deck overlooking a beautiful
West Room: The West Room is in the west wing of the main dining room and is secluded semi-privately from public dining with retractable room dividers. This dining room will accommodate groups of up to 30. It features a wall of windows overlooking the garden as well as a double door leading out to a garden patio.
The Garden Room: The Garden Room is a semi private dining room separated from the front lobby and the main dining rooms by our service bar. The Garden Room can accommodate groups of between 15 to 35. It is appointed with a tile floor, upholstered bench seating around the perimeter of the room and three walls of windows looking out into the garden and patios of the restaurant. Additionally, there is an adjoining outdoor patio with tables and chairs and access to the garden.
The following is a list of our current banquet menus. In addition to these pre-planned menus, our Banquet Manager, Terry Kelly along with Executive Chef, Robert Eustaquio, are available to consult, plan and write specific menu offerings for your special event. Whether it be a specific style of food, theme or simply a personal favorite, please feel free to inquire about creating customized offerings to meet your needs.
Menu count guarantees must be specified 7 days prior to the event.
